Hello Crafters!

Sorry I have been gone for so long. I have decided to change my blog url and start fresh. I hope you will all come and visit me on Cricut Crafts By Angela. I will have more than just Cricut crafts on my new blog for all the non Cricut users out there.

Some of you may be wondering where I have been, and I have been dealing with some personal issues. During that time I stopped crafting, but now I'm back and ready to get the ball rolling.

I hope you will all join me on Cricut Crafts by Angela. It may take me a little while to get the blog up and rolling but it will have stuff on it soon!

Hey Readers,

Sorry I have been away for so long. I have lots of things to share with you today so they will be broken up into different posts.

Firstly I would like to let you know that I haven't forgotten about my faithful readers. I had an unexpect funeral to go to about a week and a half ago. A dear friend of mine who I have known since I was a baby was hit by a train while on his work route. I took it very hard (because I am still not over my uncle's death). We are finding out more on how the accident happend. Even though we don't understand why God took him so early, God has a reason for it. If you could do me a favor and keep his wife Sandy & his son Rodney in your thoughts and prayers I would really appreciate it. Also if you would like to make cards/tags to Sandy please let me know and we could do a blog type of thing and I can hand deliver them to her. She loves homemade crafts & it would brighten her day.

The other reasons I havent posted are because I have been pretty sick, and I am just starting to feel better. Plus I have been pretty busy getting ready for an Easter cantata for church. It's this Saturday & Easter Sunday. So wish me & the rest of my choir members luck. It will be a powerful program that we have in store for the ones who come out and listen to us.

Anywho that was just a little update on me and my life.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. I just wanted let you all know what I have in the works... I will be posting some goodie bags for the Super Bowl, and for Valentines Day. Hello Readers,

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I've been busy with weddings. Last week was one of my good friends wedding, and today was another friends wedding. Anywho, on to my post..

I know that some of you are new to the Cricut or don't have a lot of cartridges. I would like to offer to make some cuts for you off of some of the cartridges I have. I haven't decided on the # of people I will do this for yet, so if you are interested in having some cricut cuts, please leave a comment and let me know that your interested!

Front of the Cd Hanging

I can now officially tell you all who the CD hanging was for. It was for Robyn (My Pink Stamper). So I hope you all enjoy this and please leave your thoughts. If you would like directions on how I did this please see my previous post or feel free to leave a comment & I'll be happy to help. Sorry this is such a short post I've had a migraine since last night and it's still not gone and I'm feeling pretty icky.

CD Hanging Thing

Hi Everyone,

Here is a birthday present I made for someone. I will post the front of it when I know that the person has recieved it. So for now here is the back.

I should mention that the circles were cut out at 5 3/4" (without the papersaver button on), the butterflies were cut out using Hannah Montana and they were cut out at 2". For the ribbon I put the glue on the cd first and then put down the ribbion as close to the center as possible and then placed the paper over it & then repeated it until I got to the last one, then I took about an inch and held it together at the end and turned over the cd and repeated the steps on the other side.

Sorry I haven't poseted in such a long time. I've been pretty sick.

Here is some new stuff...

I made these treat bags for a birthday party. The birthday girl and her sister helped me make them and they loved using the Cricut! She loves Ariel so that's who we used on the girl bags & Flounder on the boy bags. I am also going to make her all of the Disney Princesses and put them on sticks so she can play with them after her party.

Cool news, I won a Cricut cart from My Pink Stamper! I got it in the mail today. There was a beautiful card along with the cart. Thx sooo much Robyn!

Well I think that's about all I have to write about for now.. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL & Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in over a month! I have been sick & then I had to get a tooth pulled. So I haven't felt like being on the computer much. Things are starting to look up now. I caught a cold from one of my Sunday school kids but that's something I can deal with.

I will post some holiday stuff when I get a chance. I will be cutting out some Halloween stuff for my mom so she can have it for work so I will take some pics and post again soon.

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I've been sick, and Friday my Grandma had a heart attack, so that worried the family. Now today I have a graduation/birthday/ going away party today for my cousin (she is leaving us to go into the Marines). It will be good to see her today and spend time with my family today since I haven't seen most of them since Christmas.

I will be putting up decorations of my Sunday school room soon. So you have that to look forward to.

Pink Stamper Challenge!

Sorry I haven't posted since last week. I've had a very bad migraine since Sunday night and it is now finally starting to go away.

Anyways, over at The Pink Stamper now My Pink Stamper, Robyn has gotten 1 million hits! So all this week she is posting videos, challenges & GREAT prizes. So be sure to go on over there and check out all the cool stuff she has! She has GREAT videos also that help out soooo much!

So today's challenge was to use something that you got when you first started scrapping, stamping etc., so I chose to do something with stamps. I've only been stamping for a few months and I just had to have a stamp set that had MONKEYS in it (I love monkeys & I also collect them). Sooo without further a do here is my project! Enjoy!

Butterflies

Hey Everyone!

I hope you are all having a WONDERFUL week so far! So as you all know I made my mom butterfly magnets for her birthday, well here to find out she took them to work with her and put them on her computer & one of her co-workers saw them and asked if I would make 40 butterflies, so she could put them in her daughters room (her theme is Dora and the butterflies go with it). Soooo here are the 40+ butterflies that I made for my mom's co-worker. Enjoy!

I ran the butterflies through my Cuttlebug using the swiss dot folder.

Also the sizes are:
Small- 2 1/2"
Medium- 4 1/2"
Large - 6"

Also on a side note I would like to start having weekly challenges, so if you have any ideas pleases let me know. I will also do blog candy but I don't want to do that right now because sometimes people only follow your blog because of that! Sooooo if we can get 100 followers, by 110 followers I will do blog candy! So please spread the word & leave comments I really enjoy reading them. Thanks to those of you who have left me comments please keep them coming!

This quarter for our Sunday school material is Farm, so I made some farm animals (just started so I don't have a lot of them done yet but will finish them by the end of the week) that I thought I would share with all of you! I used Animal Kingdom for all the animals and I also used the blackout feature for them.

Pig 1 - 2 3/4" (I used 8 1/2 x 11 for the pigs)

Freezer Paper Tees

Hi Everyone,

Here is my take on the freezer paper tees that everyone seems to be making. I am making these tees for my Sunday school class. Most of the kids I teach are 2 years old and I let them pick out the color of their shirt and what they wanted on it. I will have more pics of the tees up by this Saturday! I hope you enjoy!

New to Cricut/craft blogging

Hey everyone! I am new to this whole new world of Cricut & craft blogging so please be patient with me as I am still learning. If you have any ideas or thoughts of crafts I can do please let me know, since I am alway looking to try new things. I also teach Sunday school (toddler class 2yr olds, so if you have any ideas for that PLEASE let me know).

Today I made two bags which were very easy.
